I LOVE this. I don't know what your opinions are on the whole issue of New Year's, but for me, it seems like a holiday we all kind of got for free. No one had to die, or do anything incredible on the date, and yet we get a celebration; in all, it's another excuse for people to get drunk and act stupid.
And good lord. Don't even get me started on the whole 'resolution' business. That is SO 1997. :)
