Makes it so much easier to read all your beautiful stories :D The Rum story was lovely; it's always exciting tower a well known story from a completely different perspective. I heard a song 'knock 123' which i thought would go quite well with this oneshot, or a similar scenario anyway...
You kept the tension throughout this short story very well.

Eeeeehhhh great start but the ending left me not liking the story since it seems like Gyorgy is brainwashed and doesn't have a choice in the end of it all.

I love that you took the idea of the fertility god from a crappy book! I have had the same experience (minus the writing it down part) so many times. Mine mostly come from shorter stories that piss me off from lack of character development and motivation. Thanks for sharing, I'm sure your version is much better.

I just love your writing. You're pretty much the only author on FP that I still follow and look forward to getting alerts from. I like Dirk a lot as a character, though I think you did a god job with all of them.

I was wondering what the narrator's name is. The story doesn't need it obviously, and I like that you can really get into the story through the first person narration, but I was wondering, haha.

I'm not generally a fan of oneshots, but occasionally I give them a try. I loved these. Some more than others. Particularly 'Mine', 'Duty', and 'The knight of the Great Wizard'.

I also see that in your 'Stories in editing' you've got a couple more stories lined up. If you're still planning on putting those up, I can't wait _
