Good chapter. Now I really wanna read chapter two. And so I can see Vicky. Seriously, I'm starting to miss her and she hasn't even appeared in anything. XD

I really like the inner working of Julie's mind. For some reason, the "room with a moose" line automatically made me think of the Gorillaz 19-20 music video.
I think Rayann's name is about the only thing that I like about her thus far.
The way Julie discribed Simon does make him sound disgustingly sweet but, meh, it's kind of accurate if you ask me. Way to go, Julie!

Okay, well, as I said before, you're doing really well! Keep it up. ^^

At first, I wasn't that big a fan of Julie. Mostly becuase she didn't really leave an impression on me. But I think I like her a lot more now. XD I'm glad you posted this or else I wouldn't have had the chance to change my mind about the girl.
Also, your writing style amuses me. I wouldn't worry too much about your writing if I were you, you're doing just fine in my opinion. ^^
