Um, my only criticism, (and it's not really even criticism, it's just a suggestion, which is pointless) is where she says "Ross molested me."

I just can't picture someone saying "he molested me..."

I just can't. But then again, there really is no point in changing it. So... congratulations on a fantastic story!

This actually kind of means a lot to me, seeing as I am in love with a girl named Laurie and I fought a freak named Ross because he was calling her a bitch, among other things. Of course, he was a year older and quite a bit stronger, so I was flattened D:

Chivalry doesn't always work, but hey! It's worth it in the end!

That was absolutely beautiful and I'm sorry that such a thing happened to you. You're very brave for putting out something like this, I know I could hardly even tell my closest friends about my own similar experiences. I'll be looking forward to more writing by you. wow that must have been horrible to go through, I'm so sorry. I'm only a fourteen year old and have no idea what the world is like but I know this much; Anyone like Ross is not worth dwelling on. Give him a big slap for all the crap he made you go through. And like 'Jack' said, God would definitely not be mad at you for something like that. This story made me think a little differently, so thank you and I pray God watch over you for all time and guard you.

P.S. Maybe He made you go through that so that you and 'Jack' would help each other, and so you can grow even more in your faith?

wow...i'm so sorry something like this happened to you. I hope that you had the strength to report "Ross". I know a few seniors in Cornell's Marching Band, and could never imagine anyone in band hurting someone else. You guys are like a family.

This was an extremely good story. "lyk srsly." But no, seriously, it was. It was well-written, and very, very heartfelt and emotional and even a person like me who has (luckily) not experienced this, I still felt connected to the characters. (Which means your writing is awesome.)

I was so shocked when I read your author's note, and it's wonderful that writing this has helped you cope. I'm glad your own story has a (as happy as it can be) ending.

Cool challenge. I may try one. Or wimp out. Either one. Anyway, this was so endearing. That's the only word I can think of for it. Jack's emotions are so spot on; and he's such a good friend. I think we all need a Jack or two in our lives (in fact, I could use a Jack, two Kurts, four Tullys, a Mischa and half, and maybe an Amory. For arguing purposes. And a Lars. I'm still watching him...). And I love Laurie's excitement and general bubbliness. Even after that horrible incident, she didn't lose any of that. Bravo, as usual.
