S.C.R.E.A.M.I.N.G. 2009-01-10 . chapter 1Wow- very angry! First things first, please look this over for grammar mistakes. "Your" cannot be used for "you're" ('That your supposed to call your home?', 'When your only running mates are yourselves', etc.), and the apostrophe has three uses: 1) to form possessives of nouns, 2) to show the omission of letters, and 3) to indicate plurals of letters. Your main problem is with number two- when forming a contraction, you must always use an apostrophe. It is becomes it's and no one is becomes no one's. The line "How will coupe without it?" really makes no sense, and I'm not sure what you mean by it. However, on a good note, the last stanza was the best part- it read well and it sounded good. The only problem in that part was the third line- you left out the with. "If you play fire" really makes no sense. ;)
Overall, with a bit of a fix-up, this could be a good song... it sounds good and it'll flow well if sung out loud. Just be careful with the grammar. |
