Yay!! I am so glad you are back with this story...I also liked that you started with action immediately. I think though that you should have added more background information about the characters etc. Not only has it been a while since the last story, but also if anyone just picked up this story without reading the others they would be very lost.

Thanks for bringing it back although I want more Saxon!!

I love this series I started to read it not that long ago and I am almost to book 4. I’m sorry that I can’t message more but my computer decides when to let me do certain things. I just wanted to say how much I admire your writing talent and I hope that I will be able to read more from you for a long time to come.

Well, it's been a while since I could read your story (essays and holidays, :D) and now I know I've been missing out on some awesome stuff! The second mark is very cool, not that Nicci needs more craziness in her life. :D

I really liked the way the police became involved, I didn't expect that, though I guess I should have with the mess Saxon was making in plain sight.

With all the ways this story could go it is very exciting to read, now that I'm "caught up" I'll be back to waiting for new awesomeness to appear.

Whoops, missed an update email from FP, only noticed when I started reading this chapter and felt like I'd missed a bit. :)

It's good to know you can take criticisms really well by the way, though my thoughts on Saxon's power weren't really meant to criticise 'cause I hadn't made up my mind on it yet. You make a good point about Saxon's history though, not that I remembered that 'cause I have the memory of a goldfish, you should be thankful I can remember who Saxon is. :P

Ah but I do LOVE revelations, seriously they're my favourite bits in books, and now Nicci knows that her power does affect Saxon. Poor Nicci, this doesn't help her feelings of insecurity at all!

Oh oh oh! And Gideon's line about Saxon growing up? Awesome bit of foreshadowing, totally getting an idea of who one of baddies are. :D

Lastly, I'm so very interested in what the paparazzi photos will do to Nicci's life, especially if peeps from her old life see them, oh the drama!

I have one big question about this chapter...what the hell is a 'bear claw'? I've never heard of it but it sounds like its yummy, too bad for the bears. :P

That was one hell of a chapter.

Some seriously interesting revelations, both about the characters and the story. I really liked the conversation about Saxon's mind reading, that felt like something that needed saying. :)

Personally I'm not sure about Saxon's "wildcard" ability, it could be seen as a bit cliché but I'm gonna hold judgement on that for now until I see what you do with it. However it is nice to finally know how the hell he did that, as vague as the explanation was. :D

And the nicely comforting, yet not actually comforting at all ending of the chapter was nice.

Wow, the way you keep coming up with double updates is rather impressive. It was nice to see Hannah warming up to Nicci and somewhat to Saxon but I totally expect her to betray them all...just because... :D
Oh and I loved the line: "I became aware of the fact that my inner monologue was getting creepier by the day"

Wow...These last two chapters were brilliant! Seeing more of Saxon as he was, was really interesting, but the way it helped Nicci to understand him was truly awesome to see.

Well, it's great to see more of your story again, though I was still in the middle of re-reading the first three when you started putting this one up. >.>
It's very interesting to see the world after the 'Awakening' and all the changes it brought to humanity. Now I can imagine you writing other character's stories set in this world, like the police or maybe a customer at Madame's. I don't know why I only think of it after reading this story so far though.

Anyway, I love everything going on in this story, I especially enjoyed reading Saxon's dream, it gave a cool glimpse into what he was like before he met Nicci. I also like your anti-shifting spell, it was nice and lyrical.

I would have been reading and reviewing this chapter by chapter but a distinct lack of internet for about a month meant I've only just had the chance to read any of this. So, great work and keep it up and keep it coming. :D

I read through the series of books in three days. Now that I've caught up I can't wait for more.

I do like the fact that humans are now aware of supernatural creatures. That was something that made me smile in the last chapter, about the psychics and their suddenly lucrative business. And now a unicorn-man in a taxi. It's great.

So the captors didn’t seem especially evil. I wonder what’s up with that. But now I’m really anxious for the next chapter, because I know who will more than likely be making an appearance.

I can't tell you how happy I was when I saw this! Haha, your past Nicci/Saxon saga were the first completed stories I ever read on fictionpress. I was such a newbie, I didn't even review until the third book. I didn't know I was supposed to. But now I am educated in these matters and I'm so excited there's a fourth one!

So I like the premise a whole lot. The begining was very absorbing just because I had no idea what was going on. My only suggestion is a lame one, but maybe post something of a recap from the last book? It took me a minute to remember who Cernion was. Well, anyway, I'm excited and there's another chapter so I'm going to get to it!
