I'd never heard the tern 'phangirl' before and I think its hilarious. great work. this isn't just passionate ranting but a well-researched paper on a subject you're very familiar with.

Well said! Personaly, the sequel sounds horendous--why in the world would Erik present himself as a theatre owner to the whole world in public? Like you stated, it makes no sense, he would feel more at east to lurk in the shadows while conducting all his business rather than meeting a whole bunch of people out in the open.

Good argument and I agree: there should be no sequel.

But this is probably due to the fact that I think The Phantom of the Opera is extremely overrated and ALW needs to cold-chill rn.

That's just my opinion, though. About three years ago, I would have been writing one of these myself and ranting, ranting, RANTING until I could rant no more.

As I said, though: good argument.

Good points, well put across! Great job, maybe I'll help you stop this sequel lol.

o! I didn't know about this! I read Phantom of Manhattan and honestly found it a stupid and tawdry shame to the original book. And as much as I adore ALW, this makes me think he's off his rocker. eek.
