I love the lines, "be trading kilograms for pounds/and silence for sounds." That's so lovely. I can definitely hear the music in this. Nice work. Keep writing! :)

I thought I was in love with the line "she must be dreaming by now of hearts beating in union" until I read the last couplet. It blew me away. Like she's simply in love with the idea of falling in love.

And I love the anticipation that the second stanza gives off. Being a teenager... your life hasn't really started yet. You haven't been able to take control and make it what you want it to be but you know that it's out there waiting for you. And the line "...and silence for sounds" is absolutely amazing.

This is very succinct, but it flows nicely.
