good imagery. I especially liked the last line, "Until all that’s left is the purity of flesh."

This poem seems like it's a metaphor for something, but I'm not quite sure what lol :)

"The zebras have left...to join the world of the dead." A sad truth, my friend. I hope the day never comes when humans completely destroy the natural beauty that exists within it.

"Their stripes begin to shed." Moving from black and white to just white. I see this as either they become pure, or that this line has racial undertones that show the reader the stupidity of feeling like one 'type' of person is better than another.
