Emily, I can't wait for you to be published! I laughed and smiled the whole time I was reading your poem. You sum up the contest perfectly (and I've never been apart of it).

If Dr Seuss wrote for adults instead of children and didn't have a penchant for making up words, I think his stuff would have read a lot like this. Very nice rythm; there were a few rough lines, but most of it was smooth and flows quite well.

As I said in class, the whole poem as a whole just works and flows beautifully, and I'm usually not a fan of rhyming poems because they feel forced, but this one doesn't at all. It feels very natural. Amazing job, my friend!
