Darin grabs my attention, he seems like a neurotic hissy-fit-throwing biatch, but in a more interesting/ amusing way than your average stereotype.

""You couldn't lick Heidi Klum's steel-toed boots, Kyle," Darin said absentmindedly, wishing Heidi Klum were anywhere near badass enough to wear steel-toed boots." That says a lot about how his mind works... and what nonsense it works on.

I don't know the fashion industry at all so I'm no use for comment on technical issues. I do know that 'Goth in the Rain' is the best collection name I've ever heard. I am intrigued as to what you're going to do with the whole 'tramp-with-a-fashion-show' concept... I think that you'll do much more interesting things with it than a lot of people would.

However, it does need work.

Pros:

-Interesting characters, Darin gets on my nerves quickly, and Christian is a friggen nut job as far as the ending of this chapter is concerned.

-All of the characters have different personalities. Good job again.

Now, for the cons:

-That dress, with those heels, so very much clashed. XD

-Because of the speed in which you wrote this, there were a lot of typos. I'd go back over it again and clean it up, which would help make it an absolute win.

You asked for a flaming review, but I cannot give one. This story was an interesting start to what I hope will be an interesting story, Star. Keep on this one, as I think you have a unique premise for any story, let alone one on FP.

Just kidding. Anyway, I actually enjoyed this ditty. Darin's a hilarious narrator, and these characters are all so stereotypical it made me want to squirm. I loved the red heels scene, all of it.

The fact that Christian's the bum was great, too. Completely out of left field there.

Anyway, good stuff. Write more!
