Seriously, I like your narrator, how little-girl-lost she is underneath the swagger. They're both like that, really, she and Piper, and it's appealing. Keep going!

This ain't that bad, I do want to know what happens... the only thing is that I usually wouldn't read this kind of thing but overall, the story ain't bad so far, I guess.

Is this supposed to be a romance? That's what the type at the top of my page says...anyway...it feels a bit too dark to be romantic, except in maybe a gothic sort of way. I'm not sure if that' what you were going for.

This is written very well, and I found myself hooked as to what was happening...HOWEVER. one thing did bother me.

The whole lesbian aspect seemed just thrown in for dramatic effect and I didn't understand the purpose. Perhaps you should explain WHY your narrator became that way, and readers will be able to care about it more, but as of now, it just sort of seems random. I promise I'll keep reviewing this as you upload more chapters.
