That was very, very good! I noticed that when you start off a sentence in the middle, like "Stepping inside..." you tend to not finish the sentence completely. "Stepping inside, his flashlight breaking through the darkness, his feet sinking into a thick layer of dust," for example, is not a complete sentence. I really enjoyed it!
