I think the rhyme in the first two lines was a bit forced since pearls do not really fit as a way to describe a squirrel in my opinion.

Also in the last line and should be And since you ended the fourth line with an exclamation point.

The piece itself was cute and silly, I liked it. The ending was especially funny.

I thought the rhyming in the third and forced line was a bit forced since said I sounded a tad awkward. I did like the rest of it though. It was relateable and a bit cute with that last line. I also liked the fourth line, a discourse with the sky was a great way to describe the idea of looking up at the sky and talking to it.

Like this piece a lot. It's incredibly funny. I like how the word choices and tone are very serious though with "I fear that" and "deeply sighed" it's a great contrast to the humor of the piece. The rhyming also worked well, not forced at all.
