Pink Raine 2009-04-30 . chapter 22
hey great so far. i enjoyed it immensely and am now moving on to book 2! also my favorite character is keir, even tho he's kinda tragic, but he's interesting! and i'm intrigued by adrian's wings. you only showed them once, but oh well. hopefully i'll see more of them later
Vera Dicere 2009-04-14 . chapter 22
absolutely lovely! i really enjoyed this. and it's been a wonderful [and consuming] distraction from the end of semester work i should really be doing. i might try to come back later and leave you a more detailed review, but for now, i just wanted to express my enjoyment and commend you on your work. :)

I used to diligently read this story but I somehow missed the split of the story into three different books, so I had fallen off the wagon. I love these stories. Cant wait to start (re)reading the second one!

Hi,

I enjoyed this story and can't wait to read the rest! I like the world you created, the characters are interesting and I'm totally captured by this story. Great work! Thank you for sharing!
The Falconer 2009-03-15 . chapter 2
Okay so last chapter was the prologue. I somehow missed that little fact... My observations are probably not as relevant then, since most prologues are usually vague and scarce in details such as names. Anyways, it was well done!! lol

I really liked the interaction between the Adrian and Kier in this chapter.

Question: Isn't it dangerous for Kier to have Adrian's power be freed and unchecked when they haven't been 'bonded'? Or is he strong enough to control/counter it? Isn't he concerned about Adrian trying to hurt him?
The Falconer 2009-03-15 . chapter 1
I love how no names were given in this first chapter. Gives the feeling of a "blank page", distances the reader from the characters and events; makes us withhold our emotional involvement in a way until we find out more. It's a nice device and it's well done here. Now I wonder how the characters' names will be introduced or revealed...

I read this on your site, but I thought to drop by to review here to show my support and love :*

I've spent the last two days enjoying the first part of your Companion series. It was recced on a livejournal community that I belong to, and I'm so glad I was led here.

I love your characters, but there is still so much that I want to know about them. You've done a great job worldbuilding. I love that you keep feeding your readers a little backstory at a time, rather than spelling it all out. You've kept my interest and I can't wait to start the next part.

I have been hooked on reading this story for the past couple of days and I can not wait to begin reading the next book. This is truly wonderful and I can't find anything I do not like about this...(besides wondering why you haven't attempted to publish this).

The character development is phenomenal and the way you have fully constructed a different world that seems so real and detailed is amazing. I commend you greatly for it. The work you have so far is superb and I look forward to reading more of the same. Cheers!

Last review. I know having the same reader submit over and over can be annoying, but it raises the review count and thus encourages others to read the stories. By the way, can you keep track of how many people read a story? I always wanted to know...
WaterlooWarrior 2009-02-28 . chapter 22
This story was recommended to me by a friend, and it seems she has not steered me wrong. This first book was very enjoyable. Hope to read the rest.
Erin 2009-02-28 . chapter 9
Well, that is pretty interesting. I am glad you thought to put an interview with Byrnan in. It adds depth to the story.
Erin 2009-02-28 . chapter 8
I thought it was rather hilarious that he fell asleep. I saw from a review or something that they originally had a problem with Adrian's shirt that you removed in the rewrite - what was it?
Alo Amicus 2009-02-28 . chapter 8
Hm. Good story.
