Epic, as always. Personally, I can't wait for another update.

I've been reading this story for a while, but only recently noticed that there was a second book. I like this a lot- I feel like you have a gift for incorporating enough of the unknown for people to want to know more, and not so much that they are completely at sea. The priests are, to me, the most original of characters. I wish we knew a bit more about them- but if your goal was to plop your audience in the setting, it's working exceedingly well- I understand pretty much all of what's been written, but what's been written isn't everything.
The only critique I can really give is that, being an avid fan of your "Legend of Zelda" fanfics, Galen and the presence at the back of his mind sound a bit like Link and Navi. Not a lot, and mostly just in this chapter, but enough to recognize the same sort of "voice" behind them. It may just be something to watch out for when (if?) you continue this story.
On the other hand, I love this story, I want to read more, and I really hope that you keep writing it. You've taken a neat plot and put it in a very original environment, and it doesn't feel awkward or confusing. The characters are very real and I very much enjoyed reading it. I'm trying not to sound desperate here- I know that everyone has a lot of priorities, and online fiction is not always high on the to do list- but I hope that you know that a lot of people are still reading your stories, and still enjoy them, and still want to read more. At the same time, it's your story. But know that people are reading it (and I'm not sure if that means much from an anonymous reviewer, but I hope it does).
And because I can't resist, I just have to add that I also really enjoy (this is not a strong enough word) your fanfiction, and would love to read more of that as well, if you felt so inclined as to post a new chapter.

Sweet! I've been waiting for this for several months. I read Book 1 of Voidbringer and it was amazing. Just like this one.

I probably should have read Book One first but I fancied a peek, seems very interesting and original and you have a real talent with dialogue and thoughts, it all seems so realistic. nice job.
