Awesome! This is one of my favorite songs that you've written. A really important part of music and writing is that different people interpret differently what you write and are able to relate it to their own life. I think you did that perfectly here.

Just one thing, in verse 3 in the fourth line, you typed feel to the ground instead of fell to the ground.

I'm guessing it's a song and it might work with music, but just the words by themselves are a bit repetitive. The line that stands out most for me is 'a sour sound' - I like the taste of it.
