Just noticed the snippet here . . . I like it. Mundane scenes work so well for fleshing out characters. (I like to write mine doing laundry. How do they sort it? What sort of baskets do they use? Liquid or powder detergent? Brand name or generic? Softener? Do they do anyone else's laundry, or only their own clothes?)

And I just love that the pancakes are for dinner. ^_^
