Very nice poem. The flow and rhythm in it worked great. I thinked the meaning behind this, you were able to put enough emotion in it to be universal without the whole 'shove-it-down-your-throat' attitude that can sometimes pop up in poems.

My favorite line: "And as long as I got this fire, damnit ill still burn"
