'A well rounded critique is often the most rewarding gift a reader can give.' I can't even think of critiquing this story. I have never once in all my years of reading books read a story so real and so possible while remaining fiction. As I review this, I have a new tab opening the second installment. Thanks for putting this up here, you truly are a very talented author. I look forward to reading the second and third part to Lucas and Katie's story and look forward to anything else you might crack out in the future. You made butterflies explode in my stomach did you know that? I was freaking out about Katie and Lucas all the time, especially when I didn't have a computer handy. I think my mom wants to shoot me because all I do is spend my spare time reading your story. Thank You so very very much, and Congratulations on your story being such a success.

So
I will start with the good first
I really enjoyed reading this story.
I found myself looking forward to being done with things so I had enough free time to read this.
I stayed up extremely late, just saying
"One more chapter...Okay one more wouldn't hurt... just one more."
The way you built your characters was amazing.
I like how Katie had issues, but they weren't over the top.
The way she dealt with things was realistic.
I also like how Katie was a real person.
She had quirks that you don't always see in stories. Like her love of sharks. I liked that part.
Actually, most things were realistic and not too rushed.
My problems with this story were:
It was pretty long to have not gotten very far. I enjoyed the fact that you were there while their relationship grew. It is an important part of story making. But it kind of felt like I was just reading the same thing a couple of times. Fortunately it wasn't very often.
Another thing was the whole newspaper part. I know that you had to have conflict, but it was a little unrealistic. The revision of school newspapers is too locked tight for people to get away with something like that.
The way Katie had trust issues was extremely well written, but I think it was said a lot in the story. also, it just kind of annoyed me after a while. Probably because I knew Lucas's side of the story, where she didn't, but still. I wanted to slap her and tell her to get over it because he isn't going to leave.
Also. It took FOREVER for them to get together. I am glad that it wasn't too fast, because of course the relationship had to get strong enough for her to trust him. But the very last chapter?
COME ON!
Seriously. I am sorry but there is nothing I hate more than reading a story, and getting hooked on it, and the characters and them not getting together until the very end. I want to see their relationship!
Another 2 things, they aren't really negative or positive. Just observations.
The order of characters kind of reminded me of twilight. Like, you could have changed the names, and it would have been a Fan fiction.

now, I was searching for M because I wanted to read something M worthy.

If I didn't get hooked on it then I wouldn't have finished reading it, so you should definitely change it. Because the rating is misleading.
Overall, I really liked reading it, and in this review it might look like more weren't positive than were, but I think the negative ones don't mean as much as the positives, and there are more good thing in my mind that I don't feel are necessary to post, or would make a difference.

o ok before I had just been skimming through the chapters, now i'm reading it (currently on the 1st chapter). This version seems to be kind of different (not just the opposide pov), but Lucas seems to be even more arrogant (or maybe it's just me) than in the previous version. One thing that I have to say is that this version seems to be even better than your 1st version and that story was great.

I have become addicted with your story all over again.
It's so good. :)

And personally I think that this version of the story is going to be even better because your writing skills and your style are much much better now. It was good before, but your writing has improved a lot. The dialogue and the story flows perfectly.

I read this story the 1st time you posted it and wanted to know can THIS version of the story be read with the 3rd story that you are currently posting? (because you posted the 3rd story first) BTW I loved your 1st version of the story, but from the chapters that i've read so far of this version (4-5 chapters) this one is just as good if not better than before. Seeing it from the opposite view from before is as good and very interesting. I love it. Btw, what about the other version of the story's? Are you going to repost them (becuase both the versions seem to be similar with only the point of view changing...like the 1st version started out with lucas's pov and this started out with katie's pov, but most of the dialogues seem similar (i'm not 100% sure, but they seem similar to me)so that we can get both pov's for everthing that happens or is this the final version?

Btw I have to say you are a great author. And your style of writing has improved a lot and has become even better as you write more and more.

It is really amazing how this story progressed into this ending.

This is definitely my favourite chapter so far, even though i loved the ones that were full of sarcasm and silly fights, this one...really warmed my heart and made me smile in a really silly but good way. Thanks for that.

You totally made me cry with this chapter, it was wonderfully written and I really loved it, Lucas can be so goofy sometimes, I can't wait to read the nest chapter and the other two stories and I can't wait to get a change hopefully to buy it in a library and tell all my friends to buy it and read it.

:sigh: I think I fell in love with Lucas..but don't tell Katie..from what i've heard that irl has a mean right hook. LOL.
