A very beautiful short story. It made my heart wrench and then gently soothed it back to it's working condition, in a little over an hour. That's some good writing. Thank you for the beautiful little glimpse into Jackson and Marek's lives.

This was really sweet! I loved all the food references and how they tie in with the story, really clever :D

I wonder what made me think that I have already reviewed this story... oh well. This is my favorite. Absolutely favorite. I first read this story months ago and it was just so beautiful. I love the food. I love the science(?) that was put in. I loved the sadness, the frustrations between the characters. Everything about this story is perfect for me, although I cannot explain why. I can read this story everyday and not tire of its magic. Thank you for sharing this story.

I don't like Jackson that much. I know it's him being clueless but still. Through your words I can feel Marek's loneliness. He has friends and all but he lives alone and yeah. It's like Jackson's playing with emotions until he's sure about what he feels.

Ow. Marek is such a sweetheart. I mean. Really. It's kind of heart-breaking to see how Jackson is so indifferent to him. You cannot decide who people are attracted to or even who you are yourself attracted to so I cannot hold it against Jackson but still... I hope it will be a "happy-end" kind of story because Marek exudes gentleness and candor so :-) he deserves it. :-)

Lovely. The imagery was vibrant and clever, the characterisation well-rounded and interesting. Occasionally you used colons when a semi-colon or even a comma would have sufficed. Aside from that, it was stunning.

The story is wonderful and since I have to learn some botanic iT's just perfect motivation.

Somehow I'm hooked on stories with cooking themes. The manga Kinou Nani Tabeta, is written in a simmilar way like your story. I'm just talking about how you blended the recepts and cooking in the story. I liked your way more 'cause you used the recept to describe things about the story, there was a connection between the cooking and the story.

I've never been much of a reviewer, but I've read this story six or seven times at the least and thought that the eighth time around should qualify for some sort of acknowledgment.

I absolutely love this story. I love the way Marek and Jackson play of each other. I love the wonderful circle of friends they have. I love the integration of cooking and I love you. Every time I feel like I need a little something to make my day I read this and every time it does; it picks me right up and I'm so thankful you took the time to write this incredible work and share it with us and, if not, me :)
