Reviews For: The Trouble With Being a Gardener
Melissa Norvell 2009-09-27 . chapter 1
Beautiful poem. Even though the plucking of flower petals signifies the loss of innocence and tends to be cliche' you manage to go through with it in a beautiful way.

Great job.

What a great concept for a poem! As a free verse poet, I believe that format is one of the most powerful ways to convey your words... and I adore your line breaks in this poem. In addition, I love the title. It shows the toil and the heartache the "gardener" or the lover goes through to tend to the love of his/hers only to be repaid with childish naivete of his/her lover... great job and thanks for reviewing my poem!

Aww, I love the flow of this, SO much. I'm not much for flower poems in general, they're usually a little bland feeling imo, but this one wasn't. It gave a pretty picture, nice vivid imagery, and nice meaning behind it all. I like, I like MUCHO.

Love,
~Dia
