I can't believe I hadn't read this. I was being a lazy-ass when I saw the paragraphs and length and I thoughtm 'This is too long for me right now.' And so, I put it aside. I'm not so stressed out right now and I read it.

This is one of my favorite pieces from you. Thank you for posting something like this. I haven't read something as dark as this is in a long time and it reminded me of how I felt when I used to cut myself. And it was because of my dad too...

The love declaration seemed a little abrupt, but overall a really good job with this story! I especially like how you didn't disclose every single detail about what happened with Kelley and his father, because it leaves a little room for imagination on the reader's part. :)
