Everything about it is very simple and interesting and I like how the dialogue is casual. Like your characters act and talk to each other the way normal teenagers do.
The story being bilingual is a creative idea.

And, I'm not personally bilingual, but I can totally understand what its like living in a place where everyone is practically Mexican.
-I lived in Arizona for eight years-most of my guy friends are Mexican and they would teach me to speak some Spanish. Of course, it never stuck except for maybe some curse words...

Ok so this is so great! Like on many levels. Like the fact being bilingual actually does help for this particular story. I like the fact that there are some words that I never heard of. I guess it depends on the area and local slang. But for the most part this was amazing. You don't have to keep using puta you can also use pinche pendeja or something along those lines. Just mix it up a bit. Plus puta is whore more than bitch. Perra is bitch. The whole female dog thing actually translates beautifully in this occasion. But like I said it depends on the area that you live in and the local slang. I have been in large Hispanic communities so the slang changes dramatically. I hope this review helped in a way. It was just a long rant on my part. Sorry. =)

I really like this story so far.
It's nice to read a bilingual fic (I'm also bilingual). I'm surprised yuo had too look up swear words though - my family (and everyone else in Spain when I go and visit them) swear like there's no tomorrow.

Anyways, this was a great refresher for my Spanish slang. I go every year to a Spanish speaking country, but it's always good to be in the know.

I like this. It's real, and with the kind of high school dynamic you're presenting, it's really relatable.
