Yet another awesome chapter.
There's a lot of spelling and grammar errors, but I've been overlooking them because the story itself is so awesome to read.
So now I know who Adam is. I hate him already. Beth reminds me of myself so much, and to see her get hurt pisses me off! And the way he's shrugging off her desire for answers reminds me of an ex of mine...this chapter hits close to home for me.
I can't wait for the next chapter!

I've been reading this story from the beginning, but I've been too lazy to review every chapter, for which I apologize.
I love this story.
For one thing, I have a fascination with England. That's probably evident by my name. XD
First of all, Beth's mom sounds a lot like my mom. She obsesses over Jane Austen, too, but not to THAT level. I can sympathize with Beth for that.
Second of all, I love Beth's first encounter with Bret. It reminds me a little of Twilight, but it's better. :) And, Bret is incredibly hot, too...I don't have a thing for Edward Cullen, but every time I read an update to this story, I fall for Bret all over again. I love that he and Beth finally got together, but I must admit I'm a bit jealous.
And Charlotte...damn, talk about bitchy! I'm a flutist, section leader to be exact, and most of the chicks sitting below me are just like her...they're blonde, tan, and hate my guts because 1. I'm a sophomore, they're seniors. 2. I'm not blonde, tan, and I actually put a little effort into my everyday appearance. The one who sits next to me is the biggest whore on the planet, and whenever Charlotte comes into the picture, I picture the uberwhore.
And I love Beth's style, too...effortless, yet cute. I like what she wore to the party where Owen came on to her. I wore something similar for 80s day during spirit week at school, and I got D-Hall for dress code violation. I'd worn a long t-shirt, leggings, and a big belt around my waist, yet I got in trouble for not wearing pants. But I did have on shorts underneath...
XD Sorry this was a bit random. I feel like I owe you a long review as I haven't reviewed the last 12 chapters. I can't wait to find out what happens next! I can only imagine what happened in Beth's past that disturbs her so badly.

I'm so confused! What happened to Beth? Who's Adam? And most importantly, what the hell is going on?
I liked this chapter though, it was full of suspense :)
