This is short, but it packs a lot of punch in nine lines. The allusion to fealty and queens is nice, as is the detail of knees bleeding onto gravel. However, the rhyming does seem forced; the words/emphases don't really match up. And may I ask why there is an utter lack of capitalization? Out of curiosity, only.
