I love the rhythm of this poem. It's very pronounced and easy for me to tap out (very important for me, believe it or not).

I also love the last line and how it plays on the instrument motif that goes on throughout the poem.

This line is my favourite, probably because it's so blunt and contrasting to the descriptions in the rest of the poem: Don’t play me foolish, I’m not that dumb

I really like all the rhyme and half rhymes, it's quite a complex structure! do you have a tune in mind? i can't really imagine what style this song is in, it would be interesting to know!
