ohh, technically flawed or no, this is brill (i've no idea if it's technically flawed. it sounds perfectly plausible to me)

the bit with the tube train is out of this world. you can feel how dark it is. oh. it made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

this is lovely, especially since there's no cliche at all - i like that charlie doesn't even like her that much, but she's so desperate for human touch that she'll do anything. i liked the bit with the old man, and i'd love to know what charlie saw, but i also think it works better that i don't. i like her memories and the fact that she lives in her mother's house. the bit on the tube is stuck inside my head! it was so powerful. m.

this is lovely. I like the contrast between this end-of-the-world story and your old one, based off a song I think? they're both amazing, but this one has more a sense of maturity and realism about it. except your language has stayed just as lovely, and the combination adds up to a story that's haunting. it just followed me around, and I read it over and over.

"The trees are stripped to their naked bones and spill like ink-blots against the world." -- that's an incredible image.

your description of Charlie is great. he's so charmingly strange and every detail is perfect.

a couple of times, there were words that I didn't recognize, but on second thought they might be brit slang? because i think you're british? haha I'm sorry, I can't remember for sure.

i have to say, i did wonder why he was determined to keep their relationship strictly not sexual. honestly, put two people together at the end of the world and I think they're likely to end up sleeping together no matter what. it's not like it was a problem with the story, I was just curious if there was a specific reason.

I enjoyed reading this; it's really nice but because I'm seriously going through a crisis now, my mood is even worse somehow...stupid uni...die stupid soon-to-come exams...I don't know about the end of the world but this was a quite good idea for me. I hope you're going to write something again soon but maybe less angsty. It would be nice if you decide to continue the other story..about the guy from library. sorry if i'm being incoherent but I'm half-asleep-_-'
