Ooh, really really loved this one, its one of my favourites. Its great how youve extended the whole idea of the turtle being slow, and given it double meaningy kind of things, thats always great. These kind of poems are my favs! :P

"The place of the lonely turtle who can't go quick enough." I wrote a few lines in one of my poems about baby turtles, so this line really stood out for me, and pulled on my heart strings.

"But still I trek on." Good message!

"Cold, hard tar against my soles." Poor little one...

"And she knows that she'll never have enough to make you proud." ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT LINE! :D :D :D

"I'm running on empty." And yet, the turtle keeps going-such resilience and strength!
