I read both versions of this story. There's just something... amazingly deep about it. Mind you, I probably haven't understood half of what you meant with it, or maybe I got everything wrong with it and the only meaning it that which is left in the words, but still. The figures you show in this story, the Artist, the Mother, the Aunt, the sand and the ocean, I couldn't explaing why, but they "resonate" inside myself. I can't help to love it.
