Just to let you know... no elevator has a button for the 13th floor. I don't even think that buildings technically have a 13th floor because of superstition. I don't know if you've noticed that or not, but it's kind of funny. But besides all that, the fact that you had them end up on the 13th floor is a good foreshadow... but it is rather predictable because I knew something was going to go wrong before I read that last paragraph. I don't mean to sound harsh or anything, I just wanted to let you know. Altogether, you have a pretty good story here, despite all the small grammatical errors.
