So much marvelousness. I'm so impressed!

I can't decide if I think Cyphonia is crazy or brave, or a bit of both... What does she think she's doing? haha It boggles my mind. In order to own a brothel, she must marry... so she can get a business license. But if she marries, will she really be free to do as she pleases?

And I can't help but wonder why and how she comes to the strangest conclusions and creates such complicated, crazy plans.

:) I can't wait to read what happens next. Such a cliff hanger.

so you know, this is the first non-slash piece of fiction i've read in almost a year, because i gave up on female mc's after twilight. you've brought me hope for straight fiction. :)

even though i started reading this because i fell in love with intrigue at the crowned jewel, it's a fabulous story on it's own and it's also under-reviewed. :o

so i'm reviewing. :)

oh man, I love you? do you hear that from fans often enough? because I do. Your clever characters are actually clever, and they do clever things, and then you follow through on those things unlike so many other people, and sometimes shit hits the fan, and they all deal with it in wonderful fashions that evolve with the character and has all that wonderful character-development that so few people actually bother putting in their stories.

You're wonderful. Never forget that.

I thought I felt touched when I read Crowned Jewel; this surpasses it by far. There are so many questions raised by each sentence: Why won't Namyrn speak to Cyphonia? Why is he so friendly to Sophia?

My only complaint is the lack of focus on Martin and Sophia and Cyphonia's relationship towards her family. I think it would be really interesting to get a solid feel of Cyphonia's interaction with their family, things like how they support her, if at all.

I hope you update soon, and that's not even said in a nagging tone! xD

Cyphnoia is such a fascinating character. I really do love her. :)

I can't help but wonder what Namryn thinks though. The fact that he speaks so little around her because he think she would pick up on the little things... and her jealousy getting in the way of noticing that... heh

I can't wait to read what happens next.

Great story. I can't wait to see where you bring it. I read Intrigue and that story shows that even years later he still has the curse. So I'm curious to see if you will overlap this story with Intrigue. I really want the poor fairy to be free of his curse. Keep up the great work!

I loved Crowned Jewel (I left some reviews there but I can't remember if I was logged in or not or used a different name...in any case, I can't remember my login data so it doesn't much matter) and this is just as wonderful. Cyphonia's an amazing character and you write her so well. I'm looking forward to reading the rest!

Oh I love how.. fascinating(?) Cyphonia is. The way her mind works is crazy. In a good way. I don't really know what to say about her, except that I loved reading this first chapter, seeing how she thinks, and how easy it is for her to manipulate others to do her bidding. :)

I'm looking forward to reading the next chapter.
