Lynn K. Hollander 2009-05-29 . chapter 3I usually don't bother reading stories labelled with a pen name like yours, but the blurb caught my eye. I found your premise and your technique enjoyable. I agree with your comment about the storyline/seriousness. If you continue with the story, with or without a complete rewrite, I would be interested in reading it. Good luck. |
Invalid Account 2009-04-18 . chapter 1That is hilarious! Could the book the King is speaking of be 'Eragon'? Or is it the older books the author stole his idea's from? Anyway, funny story and fairly well written. |
 The Olive'd Jacket Authoress 2009-04-04 . chapter 1Cherise!
*faints dead away*
This is amazing! And I laughed -- Eragon was so bad, I agree with the king. However, banning teenagers from writing. Oh, how I would just die again!
This is wonderful. Sarcastic, witty, and humorous. I wish you would have written more than 12,0 words. With some work I am sure you could get somewhere with it someday.
*hugs*

Steven Shevill 2009-03-28 . chapter 1Oh. My. God. It's great!
It has the potential to be a wonderful piece of satirical work, and it'd almost be a shame if your didn't finish it. (I read your profile.)
If I were in King Manfred's shoes, and I picked up a copy of Eragon, I'd probably ban teenagers from writing, too. XD
Anyways, I look forward to reading more of this. And more of your work, for that matter. Update soon!
Kudos and good luck,
Steve :) |
