I know it's a little pretentious to say I understand what you're going through, because frankly, well I don't. One thing though, I'm your age as well, and I applaud you for showing the courage that you have, that I lack. Heck, I find it tough being eighteen (at the fringes of adulthood, but not quite), what more you? It was heart-wrenching reading your rants, because it's all so real. I'll be keeping a look out on this for sure. And, if anything I do know how it feels like to have a father not always there.
