I can only restate the good things I had to say about the first chapter here. The tension and attraction between the characters is well done, and the use of the setting is active and well researched. It was nice to learn early on how Quintus and Lucia became vampires, as well as hints about the history and relationship between Quintus and Gwynn. Can't wait for more!

Very nice. Unlike a lot of writers on fictionpress who deal with romance, you manage to create real sexual tension. I'm also a fan of the setting you're using. It's very original and I would love to see more of it. It's also great that you're connecting it to real bits of Roman history, that really makes the setting come alive in my eyes.
