This was Cute!

I ADORE this story. I especially love the ending when Jake wants to adopt Rocky, but in general, everything was well done - the pace, the emotions, the dialogue. Great job!

Some things I don't like:
-The shifting POVs. I understand why you did it, but 3 POVs was a bit much, especially when you yourself got confused about it. Kyle's POV, for sure, was not necessary.
-The bold/underlines. While this is a personal thing, I think when emphasis needs to be shown, it looks better as italics and not as the other two.
-The writing was a little elementary; I wish it could have been a bit more sophisticated.
-Berkeley is spelled as I just did, and not Berkley. Common mistake, but thought I'd let you know.

I did like, though, the creative setup and how their flaws are recognized (they're not perfect). I'm glad artistic dreamer added this to our c2. (:
