What is love? I ask myself that question a thousand times a day. I see people throwing it around carelessly, and girls wasting their tears over some guy who's not even worth shit.

Anyways, back to your story. I love how Ethan continues to pester his mom about love, and the way she described love to him was absolutely magnificent.

It's a very heartwarming story! I couldn't help, but gasp at the end, though. A very twisted way to end such a awesometastic piece of work! :)

This is a sad and lovely vignette. You did a nice job keeping consistant with the present tense despite changing memories to three different times - that can be tricky.

Amazing.. it's rather heartbreaking to see such a little boy dealing with, as you said, the hard realities of life. Kudos to you!
