I don't normally read poetry on this site, but I have to say I really enjoyed your poem. It has so much truth to it. I also like knowing the back story for this poem, it just makes it more real. I like your fiancée's note it was very cute.

i've had friends like that. they always seem to find one person that they go to when they get hurt. but then that person doesn't know what else to do because she'd already told them all the advice she can think of. i started crying because i didn't know what to do. after that i didn't tell one of my other friends why i was upset so that friend automatically assumes that i'm dropping them for the other friend. and here's a kick to the face: it was on my birthday. some 14th...stuck in bed crying.

i have a similar situation with a friend of mine.
she got back with a guy who dumped her,
and i'm not friends with her atm, largely because of that.
well and cause the situation is more complicated, haha.
ANYWAY, yeah, don't worry about your friend.
some people are such idiots when it comes to boys.

Angsty poem! :[ I love the content in it, but just not the whole... crappy situation. Kinda confusing, but I hope you know what I'm getting at... :>

Well, I don't want to offend your friend or anything, but that just... what's the word, oh right... STUPID! I can see where your coming from in this situation. Someday your friend'll think back on this day and appreciate you giving her a helping hand, even though she was stupid enough not to accept it.

The situation is kinda ironic if you thing about it. Ex comes back into guys life, so guy breaks up with girl. Guy takes ex back. Ex breaks up with guy once again, so guy goes back to old girl. Old girl takes guy back, no questions ask! One big cycle!

As for the author's note, well... that was cute. Your fiance seems like an all-around-nice guy. Funny, too! There should be more guys like him, many then my besties and I wouldn't be this lonely! Oh, and I can see why your engaged with him! ;)

By the way, does he happen to know any other guys like him? I'm in need of one for my bestie... she really needs a guy in her life right now. :] Haha... kidding! But, I do wish to meet someone like him. *sigh* I'm definitely happy for you, though!
