I like your hypothosis here; sometimes you do have to laugh about it, only because it hurts too much to take it seriously. Keep up the good work.

Much love,

Juliet.

so many little negatives about run round

thinking their "n" "o" so cool & in style

a pettiness that makes them shrink to naught

except pejoratives that they can sound

sometimes the bitter words can hurt i've found

leaving impressions that remain a while

though quick forgetting them i know i ought

they can accumulate a putrid mound

but getting spun-up & in tizzy wound

is sometimes best dispersed with a sweet smile

hard fought, yet winning with a profound thought

that can disperse ill feelings with a bound

"your shadow, screaming chink"... shouldn't it be screaming, "chink"

Interesting piece. I was expecting something bad to happen, but the ending was actually really almost funny. Your descriptions in the first stanza and the second to last stanza were especially great.

very powerful; i especially like that you compare the color of skin to "silhouettes"
