The mug's purpose is to be used--perhaps this is a metaphor for life? I think it's interesting that 'a few drops' were still left at the bottom--suggesting that the speaker has unfinished dreams he hasn't attended to lately. Good haiku. :)

I like that it's about both the coffee cup, and the coffee. As well as the relationship between the two. Keep up the good work.

Truth in visualization. For some reason I like how you've used the color blue to describe the coffee mug. It enhances the visual and hints at the mugs sadness for being nearly empty. MD:77.

I love the image of a light blue coffe mug. I'm not sure why. Probably because I heart blue. This haiku is so beautifully simple and uncomplicated. It's just... how it is. I like it. :)
