I agree with what I think you're saying. Good piece, there are some cool lines in it-"expecting respect" just has a beautiful flow. I had somewhat of a hard time falling into the writing though, I really want to see it in some sort of stanza or tempo scheme. It made me feel like I was simply wandering through the text. If you break it up into something a bit more concrete, I think you'll be able to express the emotion more effectively. Regardless, good job. I love how you ended it.
