Short but sweet. You have a vivid imagination. Normally I'm not all that fond of magicians, shape shifters and other creatures of that ilk, but there was something deeply satisfying in reading how they flew of in the moonshine together. The whole reunion scene was beautiful.
It felt a bit like reading a random scene out of a book. Why were they separated for a year? Why does his kind not love Chirp? The book would answer that... a shame it isn't there.
O, and it was touching, not sappy.
