This is spectacularly twisted and beautiful. I like how everything is said in a calming way about such a dark thing. I really love "Whisper secrets/In bleeding ears/(Come now, I won’t tell)" for some reason. Really powerful, great writing.

"Come now, I won't tell." It's like a chilling beckon from Death himself.

"The barrel rests..." Stunning.

"Until it breaks the vein." Vivid imagery.

"Metal baby." This is probably my favourite line-it's creative and forceful.

"For you will never wake." Great ending!
