I agree with you, I like the simplicity of it, I think though that lines like: "big, bad world" has been overused already, maybe come up with a more unique way for your poem to say that. Either way I enjoyed the read, keep up the good work.

"Why hurt yourself when others will do it for you." What a powerful ending! It's so sad to think that this world is full of evil deeds--I wish we could all just care and help each other.
