You are still writing! I'm so happy to see that! I really liked the part in the middle about 'future dwindles, past a joke' because it seems really dark and kind of like its making fun of people who make future plans. We never know what the future is going to look like, after all. Why make plans?

Meridian means a circle around the Earth passing through both poles. Germans, man. They are the legendary dumb. Go fetch me beer and saurkraut and busty bar wenches and a fifty pound bag of discarded children's shoes that their little feet will never be in again ever.

This poem is shocking. The part about seasons blistering is horrifying.
