Okay, I just want to say that this story is one of the reasons why I got an account. I LOVE THIS. I've read all of your other stories - before they were taken down - and I love your style. Your characters are all distinctive in how they are shaped, though still unique. I know that I'm pretty late in reviewing, but I just want to say that I would like to continue reading this story, and that I love your writing.

People in this world are lazy and selfish and its a shame you have to put up with all that in such a personal way..
I read your Rome series and Black Sun stories on fanfiction last year... and your stories especially those of Rome have really affected me.. I am not usually a fan of fantasy especially about vampires etc but your writing has changed me!
I remember i spent about a week in front of the computer reading non-stop.. The way you write is not only captivating but unique and you are truly talented.. I'm sure you will be scouted and published soon!
I came back to read your other stories on fictionpress and to re-read your Rome series this year, to sadly find them gone..
I understand your reasons for taking them down..
but since i never got round to reviewing your stories last time i read them, i just wanted to leave u a note to say thank-you for sharing your amazing stories with the public..

Recently, I read somewhere that the Romans call their Emperors "Imperators". I think that I should read more about the Romans, since I know so little about them.

1) I love the introduction, man, it is amazingly frank. There is at least one vampire in ancient Rome, so I assume that the ordinary people are in danger.
2) I guess that the horse pulls the chariot, right? I am confused by "He rode a dark warhorse behind the chariot of gold." It sounds nice, but it confuses me nontheless.
3) I tend to hate male characters who are blessed with perfect looks. Since Varro is one of them, I will not be surprised if he murders Lia or something.

Even though I can only read one chapter out of so many, I am happy. This is an enjoyable chapter.

Oh you poor thing. That is so incredibly horrible, invasive, shattering.. its like they raped your work. Totally understand your decision. *hugs* hope all that horror doesn't affect you in your own work, even if it changes what we can see of you publicly. That you keep writing is more important that what your readers want anyway. I guess I can only hope you publish Rome within my lifetime so I can stop dreaming about it and read it! [Sigh. I love you Lia. And Varro. maybe one day we'll meet again ;)]

I'm sad to hear that you wont be posting any of your stories anymore. But I can completly understand, a single case of plagaism on its own is irritating. Fourteen cases over a two week span is getting riddiculous, I don't blame you one bit.
I hope that you will let us all know when and where we will be able to purchase your books =) Im looking forward to reading them.

Vampires and werewolves in rome - frikkin fantastic. and you write stunningly.

"You may be an animal..." chilled my heart.. Lia is awesome. Varro is hot (ok, right, cold, but you know). Flavia is evil... i hate that I"m only going to get half way through this and be left hanging, but i know I"m going to read it anyway - you got me hooked... so: please tell me you published it, so i can read teh rest one day??

So sorry to hear about the plagarism, I really don't understand how people can be selfish enough to do something like that! Was really getting into this story, so much intrigue and tension, good luck finishing it and hope you can get it published one day, it's seriously good enough xx

Hey Myrika, have you alerted all the plagiarism to the fictionpress and fanfiction administrators? It's a real shame that during the life of these sites, so many authors have experienced plagiarism, and maybe notification might (hopefully!) encourage them to implement some kind of safeguard to minimize the possibility of plagiarism, at least from their sites? I don't know I'm not tech savvy, but I think it would be in their interests since they rely on writers to put up their works. I think it would be wonderful if it could be a collective effort but not sure how practicable that would be?

Anyway, it's a shame to lose this story, but well you have to do what you think is right :) And also sorry I should clarify in my previous review of this story I meant that I think this story is great but the high school stories weren't my cup of tea (I think being past my teen years means I just can't appreciate high school drama like other readers! Or maybe that's cynicism that comes with age :P) - "lukewarm at best" came across, in hindsight, in the wrong tone...I keep forgetting the dangers of skewed tones/emphasis in the online text format! Anyway good luck with your future writing endeavors!

I loved all your stories, they were some of my favorites in all time I've been on this site. i hope to see more stories from you and would have loved to read your old stories and am sad to see them gone. If i could ever read them again i would again and again. I'm sorry their are some heartless bastards out there who took your stories for their own, frankly their probably jealous and i hope they rot in hell for taking what was yours in the first place. I wish to see more of you soon i hope. Don't let the **tards get you down. If they can't write their own damn stories then i guess they shouldn't be on here at all and I'm sick and tired of all of them. They should go and die... Sorry I was in ranting mode. I really loved your stories. :D I hope you can see that not all of us are bad. And of all the stories I've read and yes there's been hundreds of them, your stories were some of the most refreshing. :D

Wow, I'm so sorry to hear about all the plagiarism of your work. All of your stories were incedible and you are such an amazing writer. I hate to think that people would try and profit from someone elses work, especially yours, but I guess that's how the world is today. I know for a fact, that if you did get AAO published, it would be a huge hit. It's really a shame that things have played out the way they have. Like I said, you are an amazing write and I'm sure you'll continue to write amazing Romance stories that you CAN publish one day.

Oh my. I have been reading your story since, what, 4 years without a fictionpress acount? I was absoultely horrified when I found out you stopped posting, I almost started crying myself. I can't believe how idiotic (excuse me :) ) those people are! I mean, do they not have ANY morals? I hope you will keep writing, and just know that most, if not all the TRUE fans here are supporting you!! Thanks for all the great stories you have written for us and let us read!
