Sometimes, you write things that end up oddly and strongly resonating with conversations I've recently had. This is one of them. It's gorgeous.

I was not expecting this ending at all, well done! It would've benefited from having someone beta it, as is often the case with unbeta'd stuff, but even in this raw form it is a very powerful idea and it's executed fairly well. I hope to see more from you!

I don't know how you do it, but you always come up with such lovely, original storylines, and they're always so deep--excellent work! This reminded me of Stephenie Meyer's The Host, which I love, except for the fact that as usual your mechanics are also on point.
