403 Forbidden 8/20/09 . chapter 1The comparison of blood and metal repeated really makes this poem stick, and the rhymes you used are really original and add a lot to the poem. I like wording of this poem because it seems like it was written a great deal of time before it actually was. Fantastic work. |
Isca 5/2/09 . chapter 1"Blood tastes like metal." There is something metallic about it, you're right. "And sleep on burning ash." STUNNING LINE! :D :D :D "Death, a lonely herald." Nice personification. I also liked that the speaker suggests that Death is but a messenger. "The flower's lively petal, now lays trampled in the mud." Great imagery! Nice life/death metaphor! Strong ending! |
