"I hold up a glass and press it to my heart." I wonder, is the speaker eavesdropping on their own inner ghostly voices? I'm fascinated.

I had to press the refresh button 4x times to get here, Fiction press imposing some kind of censorship torture but it was worth it. The piece is short but the rhythm and the occasional rhymes form a strange yet lovingly enchanting melody. There is much passion in those apparently harmless, innocent verses, which I find quite engaging. I LOVE the repetition, it makes the whole seem so much stronger, emotional and spontaneous.

I like this, it's sort of short and neat. Like in a simple way.
