Oh, I liked the last line! Funny. And I also just like that a girl is captain of the boy's soccer team. Though, in all fairness, one of my guy friends was captain of the girl's team at his school. Or manager, or something. Anyway, very sweet. Nice.

That was cute but I'm just wondering how Liv suddenly loved Jeremiah? Just a couple minutes before she was avoiding him but then she loves him? I don't know, I guess if it were me I would have made the characters say that they really really really liked each other or how they could love each other in the near future, just not now. Despite that, it had the 'aw' factor that you need in a one-shot. Nice work.

I believe you missed a t here: "but hat’s just the way it is, Liv." Incredibly cliche, and nobody would ask someone to prom 5 days before (that's ridiculous.), just realistically. Cute, though, but a little too happily-ever-after for me. Still, I'm glad woodstock1969 added this to our c2.

Uhm, I must say this was extremely cliché. God, there have been so many oneshots written about arrogance just in this site. And that's actually your title!
There's another thing I have to point out, which is that there's absolutely no explanation to why Liv suddenly realized she loved Jeremiah. Or even why he likes her.
Yeah, it's sweet & fluffy ( and there are loads of stories like this on this site), but there's so much lacking here, in my opinion. For starters, good characters & explanations.

Haha I can see my horrible romantic situations inspire not just my own writing! :P

but anyway, this was really cute. Liv's SO in denial. But characters like that are fun so props for making it believable, albeit a little cliche. :)

It was a good length too. ended at just the right spot.

NOW write a prom chapter!
